Job Summary
Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care within the framework of organizational policies. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff and maintain standards of practice across diverse hospital environments in Georgia. Manage assignments in Women's Services or NICU settings with 36-hour work weeks, potentially including weekends and holidays. Maintain required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NRP, and adhere to all competency and compliance training standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Minimum of two years of work experience in performing professional nursing duties within area(s) of specialty
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN
- Maintain any and all competencies and certifications required for area(s) of specialty (e.g. BLS, ACLS, skills validation, online education, compliance training, etc.) as determined by the Clinical Operations division
