Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in Women's Care and Infants units, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and NICU, while adhering to AWHONN and AACN practice standards. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education through clinical orientation. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Requires state RN licensure, six months of Women and Infants nursing experience, or UCHealth Fellowship completion, with a preference for graduates of accredited nursing programs. Full-time night shift role with three-year incentive bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
Desired Qualifications
- AWHONN's and AACN's practice standards and certifications including RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP and CCRN
