Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Women and Infants NICU, utilizing the nursing process and prioritizing evidence-based practice. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Maintain BLS and NRP certifications, ensuring patient safety and quality at the point of care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This full-time night shift role is onsite at UCHealth Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO, with a starting hourly rate of $35.29.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Relevant certification as determined at position level
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- NRP
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
