Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) in a long-term care setting. Works with residents and families and collaborates with an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Requires licensure as an RN in the applicable state(s); Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred; minimum of 400 hours of RN (or LPN) experience at another facility. Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
- Minimum of 400 hours of experience as an RN (or LPN) at another facility.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state, or states, of practice. Licensure in the states where patients reside if nursing practice by telephone.
- Specific services/positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements.
