Job Summary
Provide direct orthopedic nursing care during weekend night shifts, including assessment of patient needs, development of individualized care plans, and administration of medications and treatments. Reconcile medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance, monitor patient responses to interventions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate comprehensive patient care and meet defined goals of care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
