Job Summary
Provide patient care for assigned patients in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, coordinating care across departments while maintaining confidentiality. Manage acutely ill patients with cardiac conditions, respiratory distress, or sepsis who are too sick for the floor but not yet ICU level, utilizing high-flow oxygen or BiPAP as needed. Perform strong assessments and teamwork in a fast-paced environment that combines ED and ICU aspects. Work 24 hours per week on nights.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
