Job Summary
Provide patient care for assigned patients in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, coordinating care across departments while maintaining confidentiality. Manage acute cardiac and respiratory distress cases, including high-flow oxygen and non-ventilated patients, serving as a step-down unit between med-surg and ICU. Perform strong clinical assessments and collaborate within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Requires current RN licensure, BSN or diploma, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
