Job Summary
Review patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in the assigned ICU unit, ensuring every patient receives direct and proper care. Analyze patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized nursing care plans. Prepare nursing processes such as medication administration and treatments to provide comprehensive and effective patient care. Reconcile medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Evaluate patient response to interventions and identify additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning. Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing with one year of experience and a valid North Carolina RN license.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- 1 year as a Registered Nurse
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations
