Job Summary
RN Weekends Emergency Room role delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering care, assessing and managing patient pain, documenting care in the medical record, performing procedures as ordered, promptly responding to patient requests, and educating patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up. The position emphasizes collaboration with medical providers, adherence to nursing standards, and ongoing education/training (ACLS/BLS/PALS) within specified timeframes. Strong emphasis on advocacy for patients/families and contributing to outcomes in a high-acuity ER setting.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- No Travel Required
