Job Summary
Provide patient care in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process to maintain professional accountability and coordinate care across departments. Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Work alongside Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians in a facility recognized as the region's only Regional Burn Center. Shifts run 11a to 11p, 1p to 1a, or 3p to 3a with flexible start times and differentials available for full-time experienced RNs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a State approved School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit
- Hospital-based experience
- ETC and Acute Care Center RN's must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period
- ETC RN's must have a current ACLS card or complete a course within 6 months of their hire date
- ETC RN's must have current PALS or ENPC, and TNCC cards or complete courses within one year of hire date
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
