Job Summary
Oversee clinical operations during weekend shifts, providing direct nursing care including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation. Supervise and support Nursing Assistants and nursing staff while monitoring resident conditions and communicating changes to physicians and the care team. Ensure compliance with care plans, facility policies, and regulatory requirements by collaborating with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to drive positive outcomes. This leadership role is ideal for a nurse passionate about delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced long-term care environment at The Greens at Pinehurst, a Great Place to Work Certified facility.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in North Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Must be available for weekend shifts
