Job Summary
Oversee clinical operations during weekend shifts by providing direct nursing care including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation. Supervise nursing assistants and staff while monitoring resident conditions to communicate changes to physicians and the care team. Ensure compliance with care plans, facility policies, and regulatory requirements through collaboration with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Requires an active NC RN license, CPR certification, and minimum one year of long-term care experience. This leadership role supports the Greens at Pinehurst's weekend team in a supportive, team-oriented culture.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in North Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Must be available for weekend shifts
