Job Summary
Oversee clinical operations during weekend shifts, providing direct nursing care including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation. Supervise nursing assistants and staff while monitoring resident conditions to communicate changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Ensure compliance with care plans, facility policies, and regulatory requirements through collaboration with physicians, families, and the care team. Requires an active, unencumbered NC RN license, current CPR certification, and minimum one year of long-term care experience. This leadership role supports a supportive, team-oriented culture at a Great Place to Work Certified facility.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in North Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Must be available for weekend shifts
