Job Summary
Weekend RN Supervisor to oversee Nursing Services staff on Saturdays and Sundays, ensure compliance with procedures, supervise CNAs/CMAs, provide direct nursing care as needed, and coordinate with DON/ADON to maintain high-quality resident care in a long-term care facility. Responsibilities include supervising staff to align with regulations, maintaining safety data sheets, reporting shift activities, and supporting resident care plans. Requires an RN degree, supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, and strong teamwork, communication, and patient-care skills.
Required Qualifications
- RN degree from an accredited college or university
- Up to two years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related health care facility
- Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Ability to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents
