The RN Weekend Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing Services in managing nursing activities, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and providing quality care to residents. This involves overseeing the nursing staff, participating in quality assurance, and maintaining communication with healthcare professionals and families.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in long term care
- Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively communicate with personnel and residents
- Licensure to practice as an RN in the state
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of PCC
- Current CPR certification
- Experience with quality assurance programs
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain all required continuing education/licensing
- Must remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
