Job Summary
Weekend RN Supervisor oversees day-to-day nursing activities during Saturday-Sunday shifts in a Skilled Nursing Facility, performs wound treatments, provides supervision to direct care associates, ensures infection control and resident safety, manages narcotics processes, documents daily notes, communicates with physicians, and responds to changes in resident conditions per physician orders. Requires an unencumbered RN license in Texas, CPR certification, EMR experience (PCC preferred), and the ability to work a flexible weekend schedule. The role emphasizes leadership and supervision of the nursing team, adherence to standards of nursing practice, and timely reporting and action to maintain resident well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) License in Texas
- Compact license or Texas Nursing License in good standing
- CPR certification
- Electronic Medical Record Experience required, PCC preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedule
- Weekend Supervisor experience in SNF highly preferred
