RN Weekend Supervisor at Webster

RN Supervisor under the Director of Nursing to supervise nursing services and set standards of care so residents receive appropriate medical, physical, emotional and psychological care. Requires Texas RN license in good standing. Responsibilities include monitoring, evaluating, and organizing direct nursing care; communicating with DON, MD, team members, and residents to promote optimal clinical outcomes; collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans; conducting frequent rounds and assisting residents and staff; applying critical thinking to resident conditions to help prevent rehospitalizations; monitoring electronic medical records; educating staff on policies and processes; supporting newly hired nursing staff. Hours may be flexible with some weekends, evenings and holidays.
