Job Summary
Oversee the nursing department in the DON's absence by reviewing staffing at shift changes, assigning and replacing personnel to meet patient care needs, and completing patient care rounds. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring appropriate documentation. Assist in orientation of evening and night shift employees and supervise and evaluate their performance. Requires a licensed RN with at least three years of acute setting experience. Schedule is weekends from 7a-7p.
