RN Weekend Supervisor – 12 Hour Shifts

Job Summary
Plan, develop, organize, and direct nursing services for assigned residents on the floor. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment. Review staff complaints and grievances, making appropriate reports to the Director of Nursing as required. Assist in developing comprehensive assessments of resident nursing needs and make nursing and aide assignments. Encourage staff participation in outside training programs and schedule times as appropriate. This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening and involves 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct patient care in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience with direct care staff
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical judgment skills
- Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home setting
- Current CPR Certification
- No disciplinary action in effect against professional license
