RN with weekend shift duties providing care to diverse patient populations. Responsibilities include administering medications under physician supervision, educating patients and families, supervising LPNs and Patient Care Techs, potentially serving as charge nurse, maintaining accurate documentation, discharge planning, and adhering to safety and licensure requirements. Emphasizes critical thinking, high-stress communication, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- RN – Associate Degree
- BSN - preferred but not required
- Licensed in good standing with the Georgia Board of Nursing and EKG Course
- BCLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- 1-2 years experience preferred
- Heavy: Exert 50 – 100 lb. of force occasionally and/or up to 30 lb. of force frequently - >75%
- Attends continuing education programs to maintain licensure
- Attends hospital-sponsored training programs as required by department
- Attends required safety training programs
