Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Stepdown | Weekend Option (Fri, Sat & Sun) at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. Weekend option offers 36 hours/week with a $20/hour weekend differential between Friday 7:00 AM and Monday 7:00 AM. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, coordinating care with other departments, and ensuring the overall effectiveness of care. Education required includes ADN, Nursing Diploma, or BSN; licensure must be current in Missouri or compact; BLS required. Eligible experienced nurses may receive up to $10,000 sign-on; new graduates up to $5,000. Benefits include Mercy's mission-centered environment and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
