Job Summary
RN - Weekend Oncology on 7A shift, full-time nights, 7p-7a with rotational weekends and holidays. Provides patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process, coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Eligible for sign-on bonuses based on experience ($13,000 for 1-2 yrs; $15,000 for 3-4 yrs; $20,000 for 5+ yrs). Education assistance includes loan forgiveness up to $20,000 for new grads and tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per year. $3,000 relocation assistance for full-time role. Unit information focuses on hematology/oncology care with remote telemetry, pain management, and end-of-life care support. Stated shift includes weekend option differentials and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement matching.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire
