Job Summary
RN-Weekend - Med/Surg - Adults/Peds - Full Time - Nights at Mercy Hospital Washington. Responsible for applying the nursing process to provide patient care in a high-energy Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit with a 1:6 nurse-patient ratio, working nights on a 36-hour week schedule. Highlights include a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs, premiums, loan forgiveness, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, and weekend option bonus. Unit handles orthopedic and general surgery patients with emphasis on post-operative and complex care needs; requires ACLS/BLS certifications and an RN license; duties involve coordination with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Education & Licensure: Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days of hire)
