Job Summary
Coordinate and implement Home Health/Hospice operations while serving as a clinical resource for caregivers and departmental leaders. Develop departmental policy, ensure compliance, and monitor key financial indicators. Maintain current CPR certification and provide excellent nursing assessment and communication within an interdisciplinary team. Requires a current RN license, minimum two years of Home Health/Hospice experience, and a licensed driver's license. Full-time schedule includes Friday 0900-2130 and Saturday/Sunday 0800-2030 shifts at Mercy Hospice House in Saint Louis.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully completed an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license in the applicable state of practice
- Licensed driver
- CPR certification
- Excellent observation
- Good nursing assessment
- Communication skills
- Ability to provide good written documentation in a timely manner
- Good time management
- Problem-solving skills
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
- Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation
- Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 2 years Home Health/Hospice experience
- Supervisory experience
