Job Summary
Coordinate and implement Home Health/Hospice operations as a clinical resource for caregivers and departmental leaders. Plan, oversee policy development, compliance, and key financial indicators while assuming delegated duties. Maintain current CPR certification and provide good written documentation within an interdisciplinary team. Requires a current RN license, minimum two years of Home Health/Hospice experience, and preferred BSN. Full-time weekend schedule from Friday 0900-2130 through Sunday 0800-2030 at Mercy Hospice House in Saint Louis, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully completed an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license in the applicable state of practice
- Licensed driver
- CPR certification
- Excellent observation skills
- Good nursing assessment skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to provide good written documentation in a timely manner
- Good time management skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
- Flexibility and cooperation in fulfilling role obligations
- Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
- Minimum of 2 years Home Health/Hospice experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- Supervisory experience
