Job Summary
The RN Weekend position entails providing comprehensive nursing care by ensuring adherence to therapeutic standards, documenting patient care, maintaining effective communication with patient care teams, and protecting patient confidentiality. Responsibilities include supervising Home Health Aides, managing nursing supplies, and ensuring a safe care environment. Candidates must have a nursing license, be graduates of an accredited nursing program, and hold a current BLS certification. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and effective communication are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance
- Valid Driver’s License
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in medical/surgical nursing or other healthcare related field
- IV and phlebotomy training
- Certification in an applicable area
- Experience in Healthcare setting
Additional Requirements
- Must adhere to infection-control policies and protocols
- Must comply with medication administration and controlled substance regulations
