Job Summary
RN Weekend position at Mercy South. Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process; maintain professional accountability for patient care; coordinate care with other departments; uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Requires graduation from a school of nursing and current RN license, with eligible or required certifications (BLS and potentially ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E./C-EFM, as dictated by unit). Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and extended periods of standing/walking. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and tuition support for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; eligible for continuing certification as required by position/unit
- ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications as required by position/unit
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, prolonged standing and walking, bend/reach/kneel/twist/squat as needed
