Job Summary
Provide patient care using Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process; maintain professional accountability for patient care; coordinate patient care with other departments; uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Requires RN licensure in the hiring state (or compact licensure) and BLS with unit-specific certifications as required. Full-time weekend RN at Mercy South, delivering care across assigned patients within the scope of the role.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Education: Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required (ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, etc.) as position/unit requires
- Prolonged standing and walking; ability to lift up to 50 lbs
