Job Summary
Behavioral Health RN - Weekend option provides patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. The nurse coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties to support the structured therapeutic program for psychiatric illness and behavioral disorders. The role emphasizes professional accountability and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to deliver care to patients receiving behavioral health services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire
