Job Summary
RN needed to join our Healthcare Team for weekend coverage. Responsibilities include assessing residents' health, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining EMR records, while communicating with residents and families and upholding nursing standards. Requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and proven clinical experience. Strong patient-centered approach, excellent communication, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. Location-focused role on site at Okatie and Bluffton, SC with 12-hour weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a current and unrestricted RN license issued by the state nursing board
- Valid CPR certification
- Proven experience as an RN in various clinical settings
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to nursing care
- Ability to adapt quickly to different work environments and provide high-quality care to diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
- Assess resident health by interviewing residents and obtaining medical histories
- Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments according to established protocols
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EMR systems
- Adhere to professional nursing standards and ethical practices
