Job Summary
Provide patient care utilizing the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process while maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate care with other departments and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Maintain a current RN license and obtain required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or unit-specific modules within the department's timeframe. Perform duties requiring the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs, with prolonged standing and walking during each shift. This full-time weekend 7-day night role offers medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- One or more of the following certifications: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications as required

- Other unit-specific certifications as required
