Job Summary
Provide patient care for the medical cardiac population at 4C, managing chronic and acute onset diseases including heart failure, respiratory distress, and unmanageable dysrhythmias. Coordinate telemetry and cardiac management while balancing needs for cath lab, angio, dialysis, and anti-coagulation therapies. Maintain professional accountability, patient rights, and confidentiality using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework. Push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly while standing and walking throughout the day. Work the day shift from 7a to 7p with incentives including sign-on bonuses based on years of experience and weekend differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Dayshift 7a-7p availability
- Weekend differential acceptance
- Shift differential acceptance for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am
