Job Summary
Provide patient care for the medical cardiac population in 4C Telemetry, managing chronic and acute onset diseases including heart failure, respiratory distress, and unmanageable dysrhythmias. Coordinate management for patients requiring cath lab, angio, dialysis, and anticoagulation therapies while maintaining professional accountability and patient confidentiality. Utilize the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework to deliver comprehensive care for multisystem management needs. Shift runs 7a-7p with dayshift hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- 1-2 years' RN experience
- 3-4 years' RN experience
- 5+ years' RN experience
- Availability for Dayshift 7a-7p
- Availability for Weekend Option Days (WEO rates + weekend differential)
- Availability for Weekend Option Nights (WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential)
- Availability for Weekend Differential
- Availability for Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am
- Ability to work prolonged standing and walking each shift
