Job Summary
Monitor patients from the virtual center while collaborating with the onsite inpatient care team to ensure safety and quality of care. Provide top-of-scope practice utilizing the nursing process, prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based interventions, and proactively communicate algorhythmic recommendations to unit nurses, supervisors, and physicians. Support clinical education by precepting new healthcare staff and guiding competency validation throughout orientation. This full-time, nights shift role requires 6 months of ICU experience, current BLS and ACLS certification, and is located in Aurora, CO. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS and ACLS - BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS and ACLS cards must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
- Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
