Job Summary
Monitor patient safety and quality from the virtual center while collaborating with the onsite inpatient care team. Provide top-of-scope practice in a virtual care environment by prioritizing patient wellness, evidence-based interventions, and proactive communication with unit nurses, supervisors, and physicians. Share algorhythmic interventions to facilitate best care outcomes and model proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team approach.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS and ACLS - BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS and ACLS cards must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
