Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope virtual ICU nursing care by monitoring patient safety and quality metrics to intervene with the onsite clinical team. Share algorhythmic interventions proactively with unit nurses, supervisors, and physicians to facilitate best care outcomes. Prioritize a multidisciplinary approach, evidence-based practice, and patient wellness while modeling proficiency for new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure point-of-care safety within a fast-paced clinical environment. Requires 6 months of ICU experience, current BLS and ACLS certification, and full-time night shift status.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS and ACLS - BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS and ACLS cards must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
