Job Summary
Monitor patient safety and quality from the virtual center while collaborating with the onsite inpatient team. Provide top-of-scope practice in a virtual care environment, utilizing the nursing process to intervene and share algorhythmic interventions with unit nurses, supervisors, and physicians. Prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice to facilitate best care outcomes, while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. This role involves day and night rotation for a full-time position at UCHealth in Aurora, CO. Candidates must hold an RN license with six months of experience and a current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
- Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
- Shift: Day and Night Rotation
