Job Summary
RN Virtual Acute Care: Provides top of scope practice in a virtual care environment utilizing the nursing process and monitors safety and quality of care measures in collaboration with onsite inpatient teams. Responsibilities include patient monitoring from a virtual center, supporting competency validation and clinical orientation, and contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Requires RN licensure, a minimum of 6 months RN experience, and BLS/CPR certification. The role emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, proactive communication with unit nurses and physicians, and precepting those new to healthcare within UCHealth's virtual acute care model.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
