Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination across the continuum of diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care while maintaining competency within the full scope of nursing practice. Manage patients in all phases of preventative care and health maintenance, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Requires an unencumbered RN license and preferred Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
