Job Summary
RN position delivering nursing care to residents during Night Shift, including assessment, care planning, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include evaluating residents' conditions, providing professional nursing care per care plans and doctor’s orders, initiating emergency support when needed, coordinating admissions/transfers/discharges, maintaining accurate nursing history in the medical record, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Requires an RN license in Colorado, current CPR certification, and 1-3 years of direct patient care experience (preferably in a Skilled Nursing environment). The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, adherence to standards of ethical behavior, and collaboration with facility staff to maintain high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved RN program required
- Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in Colorado
- Current valid CPR certification required
- 1-3 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred; previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment desirable
- Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use, i.e. monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.
