Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse for UofL Hospital to provide patient-centered nursing care, must have an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and current KY RN licensure. Full-time role requires participation in a Nurse Residency program. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and hospital experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program is required
- All new RN graduates will participate in the Nurse Residency program and must successfully complete all activities
- Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
Additional Requirements
- Preferably two years of hospital patient care experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications may be required for specific clinical areas.
