Job Summary
Seeking a competent registered nurse for the 7W Cardiac/Vascular ICU at UofL Hospital. This full-time position requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and KY RN licensure. Candidates must provide patient-centered care, participate in a Nurse Residency program, and may need additional certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (required)
- All new-hire Associate Degree Registered Nurses must start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire and complete it within three (3) years of hire (required)
- Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky (required)
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (may be required for specific clinical areas)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (may be required for specific clinical areas)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program (preferred)
- Two years of hospital patient care experience (preferred)
