Job Summary
RN - University - Emergency Department, FT evenings 3p-3a. Provide and coordinate nursing care for ED patients within a multidisciplinary team using the nursing process to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Administer medications, develop and adjust individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient safety and outcomes. Requires Tennessee RN license, BLS, ADN (BSN preferred); 0-1 years of clinical nursing experience preferred. Location: Methodist University Hospital, Memphis, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent
- Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
- Tennessee Board of Nursing licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 0-1 years clinical nursing experience (preferred)
- Ability to administer medications and manage patient care within ED
- Strong knowledge of nursing process and patient safety
