Job Summary
RN Unit Manager to oversee the Rehab Unit operations, supervise nursing staff, mentor nurses, enforce policies, and ensure high-quality resident care. Responsibilities include supervising staff, developing and enforcing policies and procedures, guiding less experienced nurses, upholding care standards, reviewing resident records, conducting case reviews, addressing inquiries from residents and families, ensuring adequate medical supplies, and collaborating with upper management to address issues.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN License
- Minimum of 2 years experience in long-term care (preferred)
- At least 1 year experience in a Unit Manager role (preferred) on a Rehab Unit
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
