Job Summary
Oversee nursing unit operations in a skilled nursing facility: create and distribute daily staff assignments, conduct rounds to ensure adherence to facility policies, assist with staff orientation and training, coordinate care with other departments, and process/admit orders. Requires an active RN license, BLS certification, and supervisory experience in a skilled nursing setting; strong knowledge of rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices and related laws/regulations. Required Qualifications
- Current RN license without any enforcement action
- Minimum one year in a supervisory role in a Skilled Nursing Setting preferred
- BLS Certified
- Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities
