Job Summary
RN Unit Manager responsible for clinical leadership and day-to-day nursing operations on the unit. Supervises and mentors LPNs, STNAs, and caregivers; conducts resident assessments; oversees care plan implementation and updates; ensures regulatory compliance and infection control; collaborates with administration (DON, ADON); maintains resident safety and unit cleanliness; facilitates communication with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team; assists with admissions/discharges and smooth transitions; provides guidance and performance feedback to staff to promote professional development and high retention. Requires active RN license in Ohio and 2–3 years in long-term care with supervisory experience. Located at Medina Meadows, a hotel-style skilled nursing and rehab facility. Required Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the state of Ohio (or relevant licensing, depending on facility location)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or charge nurse role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage care planning, documentation, and regulatory compliance
- Commitment to providing care in a respectful, patient‐centered way — treating residents as individuals, not as numbers
- Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and remain calm during stressful situations
