Job Summary
Plan, develop, organize, and direct nursing services for residents on the assigned unit. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while reviewing complaints and grievances. Maintain adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment, and make nursing and aide assignments as indicated. Review nurses' notes to ensure they accurately reflect resident responses and care provided in accordance with resident wishes. Assist in developing comprehensive assessments of nursing needs and encourage staff participation in training programs.
Required Qualifications
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric setting as an RN
- Minimum (1) year of experience in nursing management
- Current CPR Certification
