RN Unit Manager

RN Unit Manager in a skilled nursing facility oversees care delivery on nursing units, serves as a resource nurse for staff, and leads infection control, wound care, and fall reduction efforts. Responsible for expediting resident and family adaptation to geriatric care through education and communication, promoting initiation of 48-hour care plans, assisting with new admissions, and providing on-the-spot in-service training. Shares accountability with DON/ADON, participates in Infection Control and Fall Reduction teams, conducts chart audits, and manages on-call staffing and residentCare quality initiatives. Requires RN with an accredited nursing program credential, current state license, and clinical leadership abilities; must effectively collaborate with residents, families, and staff. On-site, full-time role with emphasis on leadership, organizational skills, and problem-solving to ensure high-quality care delivery.
