RN Unit Manager

Oversee daily nursing operations, ensure compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations, and manage staffing schedules to maintain appropriate unit coverage. Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Directors of Nursing to maintain high-quality resident care while supervising, mentoring, and coaching nursing staff. Conduct competency evaluations, facilitate staff training, and ensure accurate clinical documentation including MDS processes. Assist with resident concerns, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary care coordination while participating in quality improvement initiatives. Requires an active Florida RN license with at least two years in long-term care or rehabilitation, plus supervisory experience and PCC knowledge.
