Job Summary
Provide nursing care to patients in all settings while collaborating with health care providers and acting as a patient advocate for safe care delivery. Manage delegation of care and participate in performance and practice improvement activities. Demonstrate solid performance with additional responsibilities related to unit education and orientation. Maintain professional development within the scope of care defined by law. This role supports Kettering Health's mission to promote and restore health across its 14 medical centers and 120+ outpatient facilities in southwest Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN or CCNE)
- Registered Nurse Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Two years of experience in specialty
- BLS certification
- ACLS
- NRP
- PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire)
- Certification preferred
